What I liked most about the Ford Everest is its bold and powerful exterior design. The large blacked-out front grille with chrome accents gives it a strong presence at first glance. With its large size — around 4.89 meters long, 1.86 meters wide, and over 1.83 meters tall — it definitely feels big and commanding on the road. This size might not be ideal for small families or casual city use, but it's an excellent choice for road trips, off-roading, and long-distance drives. Inside, the design is quite minimalistic, and the materials are fairly basic, but there's a brushed metal trim on the passenger side that adds a bit of a premium touch. The 8-inch infotainment screen includes useful features like Bluetooth, phone connectivity, CarLife, and voice control. However, considering the car is priced above AED 130,000 (~30,000 USD), the standard features feel a bit limited — especially since some cheaper cars today come loaded with things like adaptive cruise control and L2-level driver assistance, which are only optional here. As for performance, it's equipped with a 2.3L turbocharged four-cylinder engine delivering 275 hp and 455 Nm of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic gearbox. In real-world tests, it accelerates from 0–100 km/h in about 8.1 seconds — more than enough power. It also features full-time AWD with a locking rear differential. The transmission is mostly smooth, but occasionally slow when shifting. Despite its height, the vehicle feels stable with minimal body roll, and the suspension offers solid support. Acceleration response is quick, and overall, the driving experience is comfortable and confident. This is a strong and capable SUV that really suits people who enjoy outdoor adventures or frequent road trips.
