Xiaomi Auto is a newcomer in the automotive industry, backed by the renowned technology brand, Xiaomi. Known for its innovative approach and cost-effective products in the tech world, Xiaomi Auto is expected to carry these traits into its vehicle lineup. Although Xiaomi Auto is still in the early stages and hasn't released many models to date, the brand leverages Xiaomi's strong reputation for reliable consumer electronics, suggesting a focus on smart features and integration with technology. Xiaomi's entrance into the automotive sector comes with high expectations due to its established credibility in tech. As Xiaomi Auto is still developing its range, there are no widely recognized series like the BMW X or M series just yet. However, the brand is focusing on electric vehicles (EVs), anticipating a lineup that will likely prioritize connectivity and seamless tech integration, appealing to tech-savvy customers who appreciate smart home ecosystems and IoT compatibility. Xiaomi Auto will likely attract young, tech-oriented individuals who are early adopters of technology and those who desire the latest innovations in their vehicles. These consumers typically look for vehicles that offer advanced technological features, connectivity options, and competitive pricing, aligning with Xiaomi's customer base in the consumer electronics market. As a brand in its nascent phase, Xiaomi Auto will need to prove its value in the automotive sector, making its future releases crucial to defining its identity and market position.

Honestly, there's no need to overhype this car — the media coverage has already been detailed and objective. After driving around 1,000 km, all smart features were unlocked, and the intelligent driving system has become excellent after several updates. Even the safety-related features seem well-improved, and I feel like media pressure helped push Xiaomi in the right direction. The power is more than enough — the standard driving mode is great for daily use, and the sport mode is responsive yet controllable. It gives a lot of confidence in corners, with supportive seats that enhance the driving experience. The infotainment system is smooth and user-friendly. I added some physical buttons myself for easier blind operation, and the voice assistant “Xiao Ai” is definitely one of Xiaomi’s strengths. Since I use a Xiaomi phone, the integration is seamless. Range is average — I got around 480 km on the highway, which is totally fine for long trips. Charging is also fast. The rear seat space is a bit smaller than my previous C-class car. There’s about a fist’s space for legroom behind the driver, and the roofline is slightly low due to the sleek design.
